September Topic: 5 Ways To Win My Heart

5 ways to win my heart

Every I will post a different question and answer it for the month of September. I hope you enjoy getting to know me better. Please feel free to leave a comment, let’s talk šŸ™‚

5 ways to win my heart

Today’s topic is 5 ways to win your heart. This topic is harder than it sounds. It took me awhile to think of the answer.

1. Be Honest
Honesty is a big thing for me. There is a great quote I saw online one day. “I’d rather be hurt with the truth …” I also believe if you always tell the truth, then you don’t have to remember what you said with the lie.

2. Be Trustworth
Being trustworth goes hand and hand with honesty. To be trustworthy, you are also being honest. If you are trusted with something or to do something you are being honest.

3. Sense of Humor
A sense of humor for me is a must. Life is way too short to be serious all the time. My husband makes me laugh constantly. It has been said that if someone can make you laugh, they become more attractive to you. I love to be silly and just laugh and enjoy the company of others around me.

4. No Drama
We all say we hate drama. Some mean it, and others are drama driven and don’t realize it. The older I get the less and less I like drama. I don’t want to be involved in it, nor do I want to hear about it. That’s a tricky thing though. If you are friends with someone, they should be able to depend on you to listen, for advice etc. However one has to be careful that what they share is not drama.

5. No Headgames
This one can actually be tied in with all of the above ways. Headgames can be categorized as being dishonest, distrustful, and drama. Who wants to spend the time and energy to let someone into their life just to be lied to? I know I do not.

I am one of the types of people that wears their heart on their sleeve. I am too trusting sometimes. There are times where I had my feelings hurt because someone was not what they seemed. The other I get, the less I deal with things.

Tomorrow’s topic will be: “Something you feel strongly about”
