A devastating injury leaves marine biologist, Ben Roberts, without the use of his legs.

His sexy therapist, Christina Lorde, will stop at nothing to help him walk again.

An unbalanced stalker, Christina’s vengeful ex-husband, and a cache of secrets come into play while Ben and Christina struggle to define their relationship without crossing the boundaries they’ve set for themselves. But the hand they’ve been dealt may cost them everything if they can’t uncover who’s stacking the deck against them.

My Thoughts:

Stacking the Deck is the 3rd and final book in the Dangerous Pasts series. In this book we learn about Ben and his therapist Chris.

Ben suffered from a severe spinal cord injury in the end of book 2. This book is about him healing and his budding romance with Chris.

Chris and Ben know that they should fight their attraction to each other because she is his therapist. Sometimes an attraction to someone is just too strong to ignore.

While Chris and Ben are falling for each other, someone is out to get them. Chris has an ex husband that gets his ex high on the hate list of some unsavory characters. They want something back Chris doesn’t even know she has.

As if that is not enough, a crazy man that was cat fishing her goes crazy when he finds out she’s interested in Ben.

This is an action packed book I just could not put down. I loved this entire series.
I received this book for free in exchange for a fair and honest review. All opinions in this review are 100% my own.
