A food thermometer is an important kitchen tool to assure your food is cooked to the correct temperature.
My Thoughts about the Chefmate II Digital Cooking Thermometer:
We all know that food should be prepared at a certain temperature to ensure that you do not get food poisoning. If you have ever suffered from food poisoning you know it’s not fun and I don’t wish it upon anyone.
This is very easy to use and very easy to clean. I love the fact you can use it one handed. Another feature I love is that there is a guide with recommended food temperatures for different types of meat on the thermometer itself. This is great for those that are just starting out cooking (like myself) or those that could use a refresher when in a hurry.
The prong folds up into the thermometer for easy safe storage in your kitchen drawer. The thermometer gives a quick fast reading that is easy to read so you are sure it is safe to feed your family what you are cooking.
This would make a great gift for anyone that is starting out on their own and are stocking their kitchen with must have items.
