After being left at the altar, Callie Spencer needed a fresh start. She accepted a position as the Children’s Librarian in a small Vermont town. Single dad Tom Sullivan was too busy raising his 4-year-old daughter to look for love, but all that changed when he meets Callie. Can these two fragile souls find love and heal their broken hearts?
This is the second book I’ve read by this author. She has a way of storytelling that makes you get lost in the book and not want to put it down.
I felt heart breaking for both Callie and Tom when I read their history. Shortly after that I found myself rooting for them.
I loved reading about how they didn’t forget but yet tried to move on from their past and make a new start. Starting over is never easy but it’s always something that needs to be done.
This is a quick read at only 85 pages. I read it in a matter of hours. I feel that I would of read it quickly no matter how many pages it contained though. I just simply did not want to put it down. I love romance novels that you can see actually being portrayed in real life.
