Essential oils are a great holistic alternative to medications. I received pepppermint and lavender oils for review. Gina’s Library of Reviews is happy to bring you this review.

Essential oils can be used for many different things. If you are going to use them for health benefits however it is very important to talk to your health care professional first.

About Nature’s Own Peppermint & Lavender Oils:

Our Peppermint is Stem Distilled from the leaves of Peppermint plant (Mentha Piperita) distilled and bottled in the USA. NO additives, NO Preservatives, NO Chemicals, NO Bases or Carriers. …… Just Pure Peppermint. Compared to other pure organic oils, Do Terra, Young Living and Plant Therapy.

PURE Lavender. NO added Additives NO chemicals NO Fillers and NO Bases. It is steam distilled from the fresh flowering tops of the Lavandula Angustifolia. Packaged in a dark amber glass bottle (to retain freshness) – European style dropper insert that ensures an accurate pour.

My Review:

This was my first time using essential oils. I had to google some uses for them. The lavender oil I added a few drops into my facial moisturizer. It made my skin softer/tighter. I also noticed that I had less breakouts. I also added it to my body lotion. It gives a nice fresh scent and helps to tighten the skin. I highly recommend it.

The peppermint oil is great for headaches. My dad had a migraine and I added a dap to either side of his forehead. He said it really helped with his headache. Here is another trick we found out by accident. We accidently spilt a few drops on the carpet. My parent’s cats went nuts. Apparently peppermint oil has the same effect as catnip. Who knew?

I would love to try some other essential oils as well. I have a lot of medical problems and would love to find ways to treat them without medications.

The peppermint and lavender oils I received are available on Amazon. Peppermint retails $19.77 and Lavender is $18.11
