I sometimes like to use stencils and color them in for a different effect for my layouts. I love the look of torn pattern paper as well. Sometimes I’ll find pattern paper that is perfect for a project but it’s too “busy” to use as the background so I’ll just use part of it.

I love my digital die cutter. However, there are times I force myself to scrapbook without it. It’s fun sometimes to step out of our “comfort zone” and do things a different way. Sometimes it’s fun to scrapbook without my laptop and digital cutter. I will never totally give it up though.

This was a very thoughtful gesture! My mother used to tell us that she loved what we made her more, because it came from the heart!!! I know yours was – it shows!! Very pretty!!
