Product Review: Gravity Falls DVD

I received the following item(s) for in exchange for a fair and honest review. Although I received the item for review, the opinions stated are 100% my own.

I recently had the opportunity to review a Disney home video Gravity Falls: Six Strange Tales. My family loves this cartoon. There are some cartoons/shows out now for kids that my husband and I don’t agree with. Gravity Falls is not one of them though. We absolutely love this cartoon. We laugh right along with my step daughter.

My husband and I were very impressed with the graphics of this DVD. We played it in our laptop. The graphics were very crisp and clear. They almost had a 3D effect to them. The sound was perfect as well.

Here is a clip of the first episode on the DVD “Tourist Trapped”.

Film Clip: Holy Matri-gnome-y
Description: Mabel finds out her friend, Norman, is a bunch of gnomes who are in search of a queen.

In the DVD Dipper finds an old diary of sorts. What we loved is that the DVD includes a mini Mystery Book Journal that is seen in the cartoon.

If you have never heard of Gravity Falls here is some information:

In this animated adventure comedy riddled with mystery, twin brother and sister Dipper and Mabel are sent to spend their summer vacation with their great uncle. Upon arrival, their great uncle, also known as Grunkle Stan, enlists the siblings’ help in running The Mystery Shack, a fun tourist trap he owns that overcharges unsuspecting customers. While Dipper has a hard time getting used to his new surroundings, Mabel’s upbeat optimism comes in handy in her quest to find true love. When Dipper stumbles upon an elusive book, he discovers that it is the key to unlocking the town’s mysterious secrets, and the brother and sister duo soon realize they must rely on one another to navigate the unfamiliar place.
