Jessica Gibson is a recovering bookaholic, she’s down from four books a week to a more reasonable one. It was that love of words and creativity that made her dream about writing her first book. That dream was hidden for years, always put on the back burner, filed away in the “someday” section, until her husband Matt gave her the kick in the pants she needed to actually get off her butt and write.
Jessica and Matt live in Southern California and have a serious addiction to reality tv shows like Pawn Stars and American Restoration. They have one son and hope to add to the family in the near future.

I brought Ezzie with me for an interview, hope you all don’t mind us taking over your blog!!
Me: What was it like growing up in a magical family?
Ezzie: Well, I didn’t really know any different, so it was normal I guess. I was always used to my Mama using magic for stuff around the house, and Wini’s house was full of magic all of the time. Stella would probably be a better person to ask that to since she was around us all the time but doesn’t possess magic.
Me: Tell us about Beau.
Ezzie: *Smiles* Beau is…well he’s everything. I know, I know, that sounds so corny, but he really is. There’s no one else like him. I love him so much.
Me: Is Wini really as awesome as she seems?
Ezzie: She’s better actually. I know that she’ll always be there for me if I need her, and she teaches me something new every time I go over there. Plus the fact that she gets under Mama’s skin is kind of a bonus. *laughs*
Me: Yeah, Addelyn is kind of intense isn’t she?
Ezzie: Kind of? She’s very intense, but after last year it kind of makes sense. She gave up a lot for Daddy and me, and I respect her a lot more than I used to.
Me: Gerald seems like he’s fun to have around.
Ezzie: He really is, or he was, I haven’t seen him since the beginning of the summer. I keep asking Wini when he’s coming back, but she either can’t or won’t tell me.
Me: You sound worried.
Ezzie: I am. He’s always been around, and I hate not knowing where he is or if he’s ever coming home.
Me: Sounds like you have another mystery on your hands.
Ezzie: I guess I do.
Me: I’m excited to see where it takes you.
Ezzie: You mean you don’t know?
Me: I have a general idea, but you all always change up the story so much that it could change by the end.
Ezzie: I guess we’re both going in blind then huh? *laughs* Hope you guys enjoyed our interview!!
