Do you drink a lot of water? Do you worry about the environment and all those plastic bottles? Learn about retap.

About retap:

A healthy lifestyle requires one to drink at least two liters of water a day. It releases energy and is good for your beauty and activity level.

You want to be sure that the water you drink is clean. It is a general obligation for EU countries that tap water is safe to drink and in the USA already for 40 years the Safe Drinking Water Act exists to protect public health by regulating the nation’s public drinking water supply.

To keep your drinking water clean, glass is the most suitable material. Our lid is free of PVC, bisphenol A (BPA) and phthalates.

The biggest environmental impact of bottled water comes from transporting water all over the world. This also disturbs the natural cycle of water. Water is the essence of life and should not be exploited in a way that harms the environment so we encourage drinking water from the tap using a reusable bottle. This is the most eco-friendly way to drink water.

Refilling your Retap Bottle is an easy step to support the environment. Once the bottle reached its user, it can be cleaned easily and refilled with tap water endlessly to make sure that there is no useless shipping of water.

The Retap Bottle is designed by 3PART, a Danish design agency. We proudly received a Red Dot Design Award, the Good Design Award and the Promotional Gift Award.

The Retap Bottle is made of borosilicate glass which is lightweight and sustainable. The lids are made of thermoplastic elastomer.

Both the Retap Bottle and lid are produced in the EU.

My Review:

I’ll admit, I’m not a real big water drinker. Most of the bottled water I consume is in the summer at my campground since I don’t like the well water they supply. I try to reuse the plastic bottles as much as possible but let’s face it, they end up in the trash eventually.

I’ve always found that things taste better when stored in glass than plastic. The chemicals in plastic can sometimes seep into the water. Glass makes the water have that crisp fresh taste. I have found I will drink more water when using this retap bottle.

I am also saving money by using the tap water from my kitchen sink. Glass obviously weighs more than plastic in general. However I was pleasantly surprised to find that the retap bottle is lightweight. I don’t know what it is about glass but I feel it makes the water colder as well.

If you drink a lot of water and worry about the environment, or just want to save money I highly recommend the retap bottle. You can see all of the bottles and accessories they sell ~here~ The bottles cost $12.
