Recipe books are a great hand me down for future generations.
My Thoughts on the Keepsake Kitchen Diary:
I have a large amount of recipes I’ve found online and that my mom has passed down to me. This Keepsake Diary can be used in a few different ways. You can have all of your families recipes that are passed down generation to generation listed in it.
The way I use it is to the put our favorite recipes in it. Like I said, I have a large amount of recipes I’ve found online. When I try one and we all love it, I will put it in the Keepsake Kitchen Diary for easy access.
Here are the features I love:
- The spine is wire bound so it lays flat on the counter. This makes it so much easier to not only use but to write the recipes into.
- I love that you can add whose loved this recipe, and an occasion it was made for. If someone makes a special dish for say a graduation you can add that it was “so and so’s graduation”.
- The black and white design makes it easy to match any kitchen decor.
- There are helpful cooking guides in the back.
You really can’t go wrong with this Keepsake Kitchen Diary. I think it would make a great gift for Mother’s Day. Your mom or grandmother can add the recipes they wish to share at their leisure and can then be passed down to a young woman that is about to become married and start her own family. My daughter is 20 and has recently moved out on her own. I plan to purchase one of these for her as well.
