Literary Addicts Weekly Meme

The theme of this week is –

Who is your favorite supporting character and why?

Join our group HERE to find out next week’s theme!

My  favorite supporting character is Aunt Laura. Aunt Laura seems to be the only one that truely understood what Oksana was going through in a new country. Oksana is not a baby so she had more to adjust to.

Aunt Laura was the only one that seems to even really totally notice Oksana. Oksana’s adoptive parents even said at one point they were not expecting to adopt an older child. They only wanted a baby.

I feel they didn’t try hard enough with her. Yes, she was difficult and defiant. Wouldn’t you be in a strange country while holding in a major secret?

I feel we need more people like Aunt Laura in the world. If you have not read this book yet, I suggest you buy it very soon. I loved this book.

Aunt Laura sounds like a great lady!

  3. Nancy

She sounds like a very loving and supporting character. So, I guess she is a supporting character in more than one sense of the word. 🙂
