Mini Emergency Kits Craft

cover-pictureDo you have a bunch of tins from Altoids laying round because you think wow this would make a great craft? Maybe you just throw them away. I came across a blog post about a great idea for use of the empty tins. The original blog post can found at http://www.onegoodthingbyjillee.com/2015/03/5-diy-mini-emergency-kits.html

There are 5 different kits listed on their site. I’m sure you can come up with more on your own. The ones on their blog are:

Candle

First Aid Kit

Sewing Kit

Urban Survival Kit

Wilderness Survival Kit

Here is a picture of each kit and the contents in them:

Candle Contents:

Candle

Matches

Match strikers

Helpful tip: It can be dangerous to keep the matches near the candle. It is advisable to detach the lid. The lid can be secured on the candle for storage with a few rubber bands.
