About the company: Based in Southern California, Educational Insights, is the manufacturer of playful products with serious educational value, including subject-specific classroom products, teacher resources, educational toys, and games. Our products are designed by seasoned educators and parents who know that, first and foremost, learning must be fun.

I was recently given the great opportunity to review the game Multiplication Slam. I absolutely love this game! I remember when I was a child and was learning my multiplication tables. I had a hard time with them. I will be honest and say to this day, I still have a hard time with them and need a calculator.

Slam

This toy will make learning fun. There are 3 different games; Factor Frenzy, Factor Pairs, and Sequence. My step daughter and I played the Factor Pairs game.

Children seem to love toys that talk and make noise. I remember as a child liking the same type of toys. I love toys that also teach my children.  The Multiplication Slam is full of bright inviting colors and sounds. This game runs on 3 AA batteries. It is also compact so storing when not in use is very easy.

For the Factors Pairs game you are given the sum of a multiplication fact. You then have to press the 2 number buttons lit up that make that multiplication fact. If you are wrong it will then ask you that question again later in the game. At the end of the round (9 questions) it will tell you how fast you answered them.

My step daughter had fun trying to beat her own score. The faster you do them, the more you learn. I think this is a great fun way to learn multiplication instead of just memories the multiplication table.

Check out this product and others on the website. Don’t forget to follow them on Facebook and Twitter

You can enter below for your chance to win your own Multiplication Slam. This would be a great gift for the upcoming holidays.
