In the package was a Wonka Pixy Stixs, Sweetarts candy canes, and Wonka Nerds. All of these products are ones we all know and love as children. I remember eating them when I was a kid.

Nothing was better than some pixy stixs and nerds! 

Did you know that the candy we all grew up on can be used in holiday recipes? I didn’t at first. If the website you can find a variety of different recipes. Here is my favorite one. So simple but delicious.

Candy Cane Crunch Brownies


Total Time To Complete: 60 Minutes 
Makes: 16 brownies

Suitable for ages 3 – 12


  • Favorite homemade brownie recipe or box of brownie mix, made and ready to frost
  • Favorite chocolate icing
  • 4-5 WONKA® SweeTARTS® Candy Canes



Step 1.
Make your favorite brownie recipe or box of brownie mix following directions on box. Let brownies cool and frost with your favorite chocolate frosting. Have children help mix brownies and frost.

Step 2.
Unwrap candy canes. Using blender or small food chopper, crush candy canes leaving some large chunks.


Step 3. Have children sprinkle the crushed candy canes all over brownies and pat gently into frosting. Cut and serve.
