As she embarks on the journey of rebuilding her home, Amanda discovers that finding forgiveness and repairing her damaged self-worth are her biggest challenges of all. While searching her soul–and even searching inside her city’s history–she finds answers. But will answers come too late and can a broken heart ever be truly fixed?

My Review:

I really enjoyed this story. This book is about a woman that suddenly has her whole world come crashing down. This story is based in Pittsburgh, PA. I am from Pittsburgh so I enjoyed all the local references as the story takes place.

No one expects to get divorced. Divorce is hard enough as it is. Can you imagine what it would be like to find out the reason for your divorce is because your husband is gay? That is exactly what Amanda is going through.

Through her work, Amanda meets the young and good looking Bradley the quarterback of the local NFL football team. Amanda struggles in the beginning about their age difference but ends up relaxing and just enjoying their time together.

I haven’t read this yet, but it sounds interesting. I think I would go out and buy myself a new shirt with the money.
