My Thoughts about The Hands Stand:
If you’ve spent any time on my blog reading my reviews you’ll know I’m a big book lover. I love reading on my e-reader. There are times when I don’t feel like holding it or my arthritis is bad and it’s painful to hold my e-reader. That is where the Hands Stand comes in handy.
This is a cute expandable book holder. It can be used for an e-reader, tablet or print book. It has a stand in the back to prop it up and the little hands hold your book in place.
This measures 8-1/2″ long when closed. It can accommodate books, tablets and eReaders that are at least 6″ wide (the distance between each “hand” when fully open is 5-1/2″) and a maximum of about 3/4″ thick (the width of the “shelf” on which the book or device rests). This retails $19.99 and would make a great stocking stuffer for the book lover in your life this holiday season.
GoneReading was founded specifically to spread the magic of reading in the developing world. That’s why we’ve pledged 100% of after-tax profits to fund reading related charities, especially the work of our good friends at READ Global and Ethiopia Reads.
