reCAP Mason Jars

reCAP is a company that sells different lids for mason jars. One of the products they sell is an kids explorin’ bug catcher kit. Gina’s Library of Reviews is happy to bring you this review.

My Thoughts on the Kids Explorin’ Bug Catcher Kit:

I remember as a child using old plastic containers and poking holes in them to catch lighting bugs (or fireflies depending on where you live). It was next to impossible to actually look at the bugs and learn about them though. My mom wouldn’t let me use her expensive glass jars and we didn’t have clear plastic ones.

I wish I had a kit like this as a child. Not only is this a plastic mason jar to collect your bugs and other forms of nature, the lid is a magnifying glass. You can now watch and learn about nature right before your eyes.

This kit also includes a book  you can read with your child about two young explorers just like themselves. Nature is a great way to introduce young children to the wonder of Science. It’s also fun to watch the world around us grow.

The Bug Catcher Kit includes the following:

  • a glow-in-the-dark
  • Magnifying cap with breathe holes
  • a 32 oz. plastic Regular-mouth Mason jar with a convenient carrying handle
  • Goin’ Explorin’ storybook
