Red Toolbox  sells kits so kids can experience building their own toys. Here is some information on the company.

Red Toolbox is a complete world of tools specifically designed to suit a child’s grip, complemented by a wide selection of original woodworking kits and a workbench. These woodworking projects for kids teach and apply various skills according to the level of difficulty.

In today’s world, where activities are more individualized and sharing opportunities less common, parents enjoy minimal quality time with their kids. Red Toolbox creates the perfect environment for mother/father son/daughter bonding, surrounding fun-filled building games for kids. Parents and kids work together as a creative team, learn from each other, communicate and achieve real-life accomplishments. Parents are offered the chance to get closer to their kids, spend more time with them and share their guidance and support while enjoying the mutual satisfaction of their tangible accomplishments.

I was able to review a mini soccer kit. It retails $12.99 If you are in the US you can purchase it here. You can see all of the items they have available for purchase here. Red Toolbox is also sold in Australia, Canada, Ireland, Japan, Poland, and the United Kingdom. If you live in one of these countries, click here to find out where to purchase these products in your country.

Product Description:

This beginner’s version of the Red Toolbox classic tabletop soccer game gives your child a head start in learning the game, while improving hand-eye coordination.

These projects are for the youngest children and work best with a high level of parental support. Skills required include assembly, gluing, hammering and filing. Painting and decorating optional and the crafts to be built are toys that would appeal to younger children.

My Review:

I love the concept of this company.  Kids get to to learn how to use tools properly and make something functional.  It’s a great way to spend quality time with your child. My husband and my youngest daughter built this together. My husband had a great time teaching her about tools and working together on a project.  My daughter loved spending time with just daddy working on something.

This is the finished project.

This would make a great gift for any child. Give the gift of your time this holiday season.

This is really cool. I work in a child care center and some of the kids would really love to build their own toys.
