Yesterday I reviewed the cutting machine Cameo by Silhouette America. Today I’m reviewing their sketch pens. You can find my review for the Cameo here.

Silhouette America offers different items to get the most of out of your machine. One of those items are sketch pens. I received 2 different sets of pens to review. One of them is the glitter sketch pen pack, the other is the metallic sketch pen pack.  Each pack retails $6.99.

Product Description:

My Review:

I was excited to get to review these sketch pens. Sometimes in paper crafting there are designs that are very detailed and delicate. When you cut those type of files, they rip easily and are hard to glue down to your project. The sketch pens are a great alternative. Instead of cutting your design, you sketch it. The sketch pens are also a great way to add a unique design to your project.

I used the sketch pens to sketch two different designs. For the metallic pens, I used a double connected heart file. For the glitter pens, I used a tag.

I love the look of the end result with the sketch pens. I can see myself using them a lot for my scrapbooking projects. I think a great idea for the sketch pens would be to use them with a font. You can create great unique titles for scrapbook pages. You can even use them for journaling with a very delicate cursive font.

Silhouette America also sells:

set of 24 sketch pens for $19.99

starter pack of 8 pens for $9.99

black & white collection (3 black 1 white) for $6.99

silhouette pen holder (this allows you to use your own pens that are ballpoint size) for $9.99
