Sky Trail is the premiere ropes course attraction inside the Galleria at Pittsburgh Mills. It is a 3-story tall ropes course and an adventure like no other!
About Sky Trail:
Participants are safely harnessed before climbing through 2 levels of cargo nets, angled rope ladders, and more! Participants are able to choose their own pace with the ability to pass other participants at each platform. You can’t forget the Sky Rail zip line! it measures 69-feet long and you can soar across the food court over and over, no experience required. There is also a special Sky Tykes ropes course for kids under 4-feet tall which parents can assist their young thrill seekers on. With a ropes course perfect for all ages, this is an exhilarating attraction for the whole family – rain or shine!

I can’t wait to take my two nieces that are 12 and 4. They are both full of energy and excitement all the time. This is especially true with for the 4 year old.
The weather has turned cooler here quickly. I love that this attraction is done indoors. It’s the perfect way to spend some family time together on the weekends or in the evening after school/work. Sky Trails is just another example of a great attraction we have in Pittsburgh.
Pittsburgh Mills Sky Trail features an adventure ropes course that stands 32′ tall with 2 levels of 30 elements. The elements are horizontally strung ropes and bridge activities like zig-zag beams, criss-cross angled rope ladders and cargo nets secured between steel poles. All ages and abilities can experience the Sky Trail attraction. Participants are able to choose their path through the rope elements while going at their own pace with the ability to pass other participants at each platform. This course requires a 48″ minimum height to participate alone however adventurers 42” or higher can participate with an adult.
The ropes course is also equipped with a Sky Rail zip line connection measuring 69′ long. Participants soar down the length of the ropes course on a self guided zipping experience and are able to enjoy it’s thrills over and over.
For kids under 48” tall there is the Sky Tykes ropes course which is a smaller version of the Sky Trail and specifically designed for children ages 2-7. The platforms are less than 3’ off the ground, which allow for chaperones to assist.
The price is Sky Trail & Sky Rail – $14 and Sky Tykes – $7.
Check back for my review of the Sky Trail after we visit. There will even be a giveaway for tickets!
