Smartlab Toys Girls Only Secret Message Lab

SmartLab Toys makes Science fun. Gina’s Library of Reviews is happy to bring you this review of their Girls Only Secret Message Lab.

My Thoughts on the Girls Only Secret Message Lab:

I love toys that teach children while they are having fun. This set is great for the preteen girl who wants to make hidden messages with a friend. It makes them feel so grown up to have secrets. This is geared to girls ages 8 and up. There are 2 sets so you can share one with a friend.

The kit includes:

  • 2 Cases
  • 4 Cipher wheels
  • 2 Invisible ink pens with UV reveal lights
  • 2 Red acetates
  • 2 Markers
  • 2 White crayons
  • 24-page book
  • 2 Message masks
  • Stickers

Girls will discover 25 ways to use science to share secrets, such as applying chemistry skills to make invisible ink and reveal mysterious messages, and learning basic coding skills to write and decipher custom secret codes. Girls can get crafty by learning fun ways to pass notes, and much more. The 24-page book in the kit includes activity instructions, science information, as well as facts about how secret messages have been used throughout history.

Another thing I have about this toy is that there are no batteries required. I don’t know about you but I spend a lot of money on batteries for toys over the years.
