Are you on the Keto diet? Tasteaholics has 3 great cookbooks with easy recipes to keep you on track.
What is a Keto Diet?
Have you heard of the Keto diet but not sure what it really is? I’ll admit I was in that boat.
“Ketogenic” is a term for a low-carb diet (like the Atkins diet). The idea is for you to get more calories from protein and fat and less from carbohydrates. You cut back most on the carbs that are easy to digest, like sugar, soda, pastries, and white bread. (Source: WebMD)
As with any diet or category of a cookbook, there are many on the market. What makes these “In Five” cookbooks unique and wonderful is that there are only 5 ingredients in each recipe!
I’m personally not on a Keto Diet but I should eat healthier for various reasons. A lot of these recipes were something I can totally see me eating. The fact that they are super easy to make is a big bonus for me. I love food, but I don’t love spending a lot of time in the kitchen to prepare it. My husband doesn’t eat much at all and it’s a struggle to get him to eat. It’s like trying to feed a 40+-year-old toddler really.
Each cookbook is only $7.95. I love that since they are Kindle versions you can have the recipes with you at all times. Ever make a grocery list and then forget it at home? Guilty as charged here! If you always carry your Kindle with you, your recipes are there as well.
Created by the duo behind the ultra-popular low carb website, Tasteaholics.com, These are cookbooks unlike any other, featuring 30 delicious breakfast recipes each requiring only 5 common ingredients and containing up to 5 grams of net carbohydrates.
