With a rich heritage, and origins dating back to 1795, the Dixon Ticonderoga Company throughout history has made its mark through quality, integrity, respect, and perseverance. Today Dixon Ticonderoga continues to make its mark manufacturing and marketing writing instruments, art supplies and tools for self-expression. The Ticonderoga is the world’s best pencil. An exclusive graphite core formula gives you extra smooth performance. PMA certified non-toxic and crafted with premium wood from well-managed forests, these top quality pencils feature latex-free erasers to provide easy, clean corrections. Great to keep in a locker, in the glove compartment, in your desk drawer – always sharp, always ready to write.
Ticonderoga is my new favorite brand of pencils.
I often wondered why teachers wanted this particular brand of pencils for their classrooms when possible. I now know, not all pencils are the same. Ticonderoga is slightly more expensive than other pencils on the market but they are totally worth it!
I use a pencil for my editorial calendar for my blog. I’m known to move blog post ideas around as needed. I was using cheaper pencils but I could never find a pencil I didn’t complain about. My typical complaints were:
- Lead was weak and would break constantly when sharpening
- Lead was light and didn’t show up very well on all types of paper
- Lead didn’t erase easily or completely
All of those concerns have vanished with just one brand, Ticonderoga! These pencils are so amazing that I don’t even have to sharpen my pencil as often. I will no longer use any pencil except for Ticonderoga in my home office. There are different pencils to choose from, I love that they even have a chubby pencil for young children just learning how to write.
Have you tried Ticonderoga pencils yet? What is your go to pencil?
